Patient and Medication Tracking Software

In 1999, Volunteers in Healthcare, an agency dedicated to assisting healthcare providers who serve low income patients, contracted with Systemetrics to develop RxAssist Plus, a software package designed to assist the providers in obtaining free and low cost prescriptions for their patients through pharmaceutical patient assistance programs. Over the years this program has been modified to better meet the needs of practitioners in fullfilling the requirements of patient assistance programs, as well as track medication and patient information. Much of the development of the software was funded through grants from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Systemetrics has done all of the programming to develop and enhance the RxAssist Plus software and has also provided technical support to users of the software.

In 2005, Volunteers in Healthcare underwent a major restructuring and could no longer support the RxAssist Plus program. They ceded rights to the software to Systemetrics, which is committed to continuing to provide this valuable tool to the medical community.
